Q&A Spirit Week

Q&A Spirit Week is a week to celebrate the life of rural Kansas native Gilbert Baker and the accomplishments of the entire queer rural community. From Parsons, KS, Baker is the creator of the iconic Rainbow Flag, which first flew in 1978. Each day of Q&A Spirit Week, there is a new challenge on our social media. On the Monday of Spirit Week, Project Q&A holds a book discussion, and on Wednesday, there is a virtual reception for the Q&A Spirit Week Art Competition. The art competition reimagines the Rainbow Flag to celebrate the richly diverse queer community.
